Privacypolicy.

• Contact and brief form. The name, company, email, phone, services and message you type are saved in your own browser's local storage on this device. The form does not send them to us, so to reach us please email or call as well.
• Sign-in. When studio staff or clients sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive their name, email address and profile photo from that provider, and keep a session record in our database.
• Clients we bill. For invoices and recurring billing we keep the client's name, email, company, phone, line items, amounts and payment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) to run and secure the site.

• To reply to you and plan the work you ask about.
• To let studio staff sign in to the private studio desk, and clients see the invoices sent to their email.
• To send invoices, collect payments and run agreed recurring billing.
• To keep the site working, secure and free of abuse.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

• Vercel hosts the site and processes request logs.
• Our database provider stores sign-in sessions, contacts and invoice records.
• Stripe processes card payments for our invoices under its own privacy policy.
• Postmark delivers the invoice emails we send.
• Google and LinkedIn handle sign-in.
• YouTube serves embedded videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) when you play them.
• Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Signing in to the studio desk sets essential session cookies so you stay signed in. The contact form and brief builder use your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time in your browser settings. Embedded YouTube videos and Google Fonts may set or read their own data under their policies.

Sign-in sessions expire and are removed over time. Client and billing records are kept as long as we work together and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Hosting logs are kept for the provider's standard period.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing peter@buildersfilmstudio.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some billing records where the law requires.

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy we will update it here and change the effective date above.
