BUILT to BUILD

Material delivery and movement, automated truss systems, wall panel production, stand-alone preplate, and factories. Built to support an existing workforce, with more capacity and consistent output.

  • New. Lease with Robotics-as-a-Service.

    Automated Preplate Machine

The APM-1000 is a manual infeed / manual outfeed pre-plate solution for roof truss manufacturing.

    The system
  • AMD Series. Lease with Robotics-as-a-Service.

    Automated Material Delivery

Embeds nail plates on boards and delivers them via conveyors to an existing roof table. Operated by 3 employees.

    The system
  • Automated Roof Truss System

    SRT-1200, single table, 2 set up. DRT-1200, two-table, 4 set up.

    The system
  • Automated Floor Truss System

    SFT-1000, single table, runs a 40' truss from 12"–24". SFT-2000, two-table, runs two 40' trusses from 12"–24".

    The system
  • Automated Panel Openings

Robotic framing for rough openings, including windows, doors, and service installation openings.

    The system
  • Automated Panel Framing

Robotic framing for wall panels through the automated insertion and fastening of top and bottom plates and span members.

    The system
  • Preplate Configurations

Configuration options for the preplate system, including material delivery and buffering.

    The system
  • Automated Factories

Panel and modular factories built around the same robotic systems.

    The system
  • Increase capacity

Robotic systems maximize efficiency and productivity, typically achieving a positive ROI in under five years.

  • Precision and quality

Near-perfect connector plate placement, with components built to precise standards.

  • Labor

Automation addresses recruitment, retention, rising wages, and an aging workforce.

  • Safety

An automated system can greatly improve workplace safety while eliminating the need for operators to handle heavy boards or perform repetitive tasks.

Introducing the AMD Series

Nail plates, then the table.

The AMD series embeds nail plates on truss members and delivers them to a truss table set up via tracks and conveyors next to an existing table. An easier, more efficient truss build. AMD-1100 and AMD-1200.

With the implantation of our HoD Robots we have added a truly functional and reliable component to our manufacturing process. Our employees have embraced the change knowing that these improvements will make their jobs easier, while at the same time maintaining the quality and consistency especially with our connector plates. With the uniformity of the robotic system and the excellent service and support we receive it helps lay to rest our concerns with labor shortages we have experienced knowing we can count on them to operate every day. The safety protocols with the equipment are top notch and everyone that works around the robots with confidence, the typical injuries from extra handling of the component materials has been practically eliminated.

Jeff Letherer, President at Letherer Truss, Inc.

The HoD system has created a lot of excitement and employee engagement in our organization. Our employees have been eager to learn and work with this exciting new technology. The quality of the trusses and plate placement is substantially better than a manual build and the output on the machine is extremely reliable and predictable. We used to touch a piece of lumber fourteen times and now we touch it between 4 and 5 depending on the product mix. It was both more efficient and less impactful on people.

John (BJ) Louws, President at Louws Truss Inc.
